Canine Good Citizen Class / Therapy Dog: 4 week class
This is a rolling registration class. Open dates are April 3 thru August 28 2024
Class is held Wednesdays from 5 - 6 pm.
Pups will learn sit, down, stay, recall and loose leash walking to meet requirements to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen class. This class is good any age pup from 8 weeks on up. This is also a good class for any team interested in doing therapy work or even just a good basic training class. Tuition fee is $120 for a 4 week class payable at first class.
Puppy Manners Class : 4 week class or AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy: 6 week class
This is a rolling registration class. Open dates are April 3 thru August 28 2024
Class is held Wednesdays from 6 to 6:45 pm.
Pups will learn sit, down, stay, recall and loose leash walking. This class is good any age pup from 8 weeks on up. Tuition fee is $120 for the 4 week class. $180 for AKC STAR Puppy. Register by clicking the register button above.
Rally Class:

This is a 45 minute class that will teach you e will work through a course of a variety of rally movements. A fun competition will be held during the last class. Class fee is $120 for the 4 week class.
AKC Trick Dog Class:
Online sessions running now
A fun class for you and your dog teaching them tricks! We will work on a variety of tricks like crawl, high five, roll over, spin and much more! Please see the AKC website for details on tricks you can teach and ribbons you can win! This class is to provide coaching and evaluation once the team is ready! Class is $100 for the 4 weeks.

Description of Classes, Seminars, and Workshops 2024
AKC Canine Good Citizen / AKC STAR Puppy Class
This class teaches your dog how to walk nicely on a leash, sit, down and stay on command, accept a stranger, to be calm while petting and grooming, walk calmly through crowds, and a reliable recall. Once your dog successfully completes the program he/she will be certified as a canine good citizen! AKC STAR Puppy class includes socialization time.
Bootcamp- CGC offered as a two week session instead of a four week session
Loose leash walking class- Learn the ins and outs of teaching your dog to walk loose leash and politely beside you. No more pulling or dragging you every step of the way. Great for dogs three months and older.
Rally class – Rally class is a great stepping stone after CGC class and provides a link from the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program to obedience or agility competition, both for dogs and handlers. A rally course includes 10 to 20 stations, depending on the level.
Shy dog class – This class is designed for the dog owner or shelter worker who is interested in learning more about working with dogs that have fear issues. Learn why dogs might be afraid of objects, people, or everything! And learn how to work with this behavior to promote confidence and safety.
Therapy dog class - Teach your dog what he/she needs to know to become evaluated as a Therapy dog!!

This seminar is for anyone who has a puppy or is thinking about getting one.
Some of the discussion topics will be selecting a pup and what you will need
before bringing a puppy home.
Fearful Dog Workshop- TBD, 2024 - Binghamton, NY
This seminar is for dog owners, trainers and behavior consultants. This will especially be perfect for Fearful Dog seminar participants to apply what they learned in the seminar and put it to work in this hands on opportunity with their own dog.
We are offering 8 full working spots with your dog for $70. There are also auditor spots available for $30. We meet for 2 45 minute sessions.
